About Us

I            Your innkeeper Julia Morgan and her husband Rod Lambert.

We've lived here at EcoVillage at Ithaca since 1996. Once our boys both left for college, a bed and breakfast was born! We designed and built the house ourselves; Rod has also designed most of the other houses in the SoNG neighborhood. We enjoy growing our own vegetables and fruit; at the right time of year, you may get the chance to enjoy our raspberries, strawberries or peaches.

Below is our resident cat, Panther. (He stays out of the B&B rooms.)

What a few others have said in our guest comment book:

  • Thank you for a wonderful stay in a wonderful place. Your village is a sanctuary for peace. We loved it. - Diego and Chbe, Geneva, Switzerland

  • I really enjoyed the two days at your house. Thank you for answering all my questions about the EcoVillage. Thank you for the warmest hospitality. The homemade yogurt and granola are so delicious. I can't wait to come back to visit again this summer.   - Cheryl, Jeff & Ian

  • Thank you for your hospitality! We enjoyed your homemade yogurt and raspberry jam.  -Tal & Gilad, Israel

  • Lovely, peaceful, sunny, warm, welcoming, exploring, good food, great waterfalls, happy place to spend a weekend with my sweetie.    - Cara from VT  (ditto! Ted from VA)

  • It was delightful walking slowly along the winding path. Observing each unique house, all the lovely gardens, children playing. Finding the plump blackberries to eat was a surprise! Recommend the local restaurant Just a Taste. Sit on the patio. Take a dip in the pond. The water is fine!  - Katleen
